A mask; it allows you to hide, to change, to transform. These are the opening lines spoken in Paul Prater’s show Maschera. In this show, Paul talks about the power and seductiveness of masks while providing uncanny demonstrations of transformation, synchronicity and mindreading.

Can a mask tell more about you than you think? Does it really allow you to hide, or does it reveal more about you?

What would you do if you could do anything and get away with it?

Would you be willing to risk placing a curse on someone else to save yourself?

Can a mask actually confer true power on the wearer?

These are but a few of the questions explored in this terrific, interactive show. Paul will share some very unique antiques and items he has acquired over the years while inviting the audience to take part in creating the performance.

The entire audience is invited to attend while wearing masks of some type. They can choose whether to keep them on and remain hidden or take them off to reveal themselves.

The show is playing live every Wednesday at 109 & Co. at 109 Main Street in downtown Little Rock. The shows start at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday. Tickets can purchased here, or at the door.
